Langtang Valley Trek

The route

The Langtang Valley Trek runs for 8 days, topping out at 4,984 metres.

We run this route with an indigenous crew, teahouses booked ahead in the busy season, and every permit filed by our Kathmandu office before you land. Group sizes are capped so the pace stays honest and nobody gets pushed through an acclimatisation day they need.

Nothing is payable in advance. You settle in Kathmandu once you have met your guide and checked the gear.

  • Kyanjin Ri at 4,773 m
  • Langtang village and its yak cheese factory
  • Tamang and Tibetan culture
  • No flights required
