No. We hold your place on a departure without a deposit and you settle the full amount in Kathmandu once you have met your guide and inspected the gear. This is deliberate — it is how we have worked for fourteen years.

Our Kathmandu desk is staffed from 06:00 to 22:00 Nepal time and usually replies within a few minutes. Overnight messages are answered first thing.

Fixed departures are capped at twelve trekkers. Private departures run from a single trekker upwards, with the guide-to-trekker ratio you choose.
